Lawrence Jacobs
Lawrence (Larry) Jacobs has 35 years’ experience representing local businesses in a wide range of matters, including business transactions, contracts and employment law. He is frequently asked to consult on management and marketing issues and has acquired a reputation as an excellent problem-solver.
As a natural outgrowth of meeting the needs of business owners, and in order to better serve the needs of his individual clients, Larry expanded his practice to include estate planning. Over the last 15 years, he has helped hundreds of couples and singles protect their families and control the disposition of their assets through carefully-crafted documents.
A longtime advocate for civil rights, Larry was in appointed to the Montgomery County Human Relations commission in 1995 and became Chair of the Commission in 2000. Passionately interested in the well-being of students, he co-founded the Safe Schools Coalition of Montgomery County in 1995. He was a Board member and the past president of Equality Maryland. He currently serves on the Board of Hearts and Homes for Youth.
Larry is also a licensed real estate broker in Maryland. He has lived in many different areas of Montgomery County during the last 37 years.
